A New Level of Prepared

Back in June I trekked to Eagle River, Wisconsin for a beer festival (thanks to Wayne Maki for letting me know about the event). The tickets were steep ($35 – yipes), but you got a 4 ounce glass, a beer scorecard and the chance to sample literally dozens of local brews.

The beers were awesome (well, most were – there were a few stinkers) and the crowd was huge. But what struck me was just how “Boy Scout prepared” some of the drinkers were – tons of folks came in with wearable pretzel necklaces (made of every type of pretzel imaginable). I didn’t know that wearable pretzels were a thing, so I snapped this pic to send back to Susan (she hadn’t moved up here yet).
