A black bear to be exact. A black bear in our yard to be even more specific. And that mesh? That is the screen that was the only thing between me, Stella and that black bear. So far, we’ve seen a total of six black bears … two in our yard.
There are around 18,000 of them in the UP and they should be going into hibernation mid to late October.
